Conceptual Design:
This has to do with the early phase of the design process, in which the broad outlines of function and form of project are articulated. It includes the design of interactions, experiences, processes, and strategies. In the conceptual Design, MAC-ZIKO will involve an understanding of the client’s needs and how to meet their objective.
Front End Engineering Design (FEED):
In the Front-End Engineering Design, MAC-ZIKO focuses on the technical requirements as well as rough investment cost and identifying main costs for a proposed project being embark upon by the client. This activity is also used to establish a price for the execution phase of the project and evaluate potential risks. Some highlights of the FEED activities are;
1. to define the technical and project-specific requirements for an understanding of clear project scope.
2. to prepare the project approach and basis of design for the system.
3. to develop a good project cost estimate for budget authorization.
4. to reduce the risk of the project.
5. to estimate the project duration and schedule during the detailed design phase.
Detailed Engineering Design (DED)
The goal of the detailed design stage is to develop the sketch design into working drawings and specifications suitable for construction purposes. MAC-ZIKO is committed to a process that is highly iterative by standard practice. Parts of the process often need to be repeated many times before another can be entered. Though the part(s) that get iterated and the number of such cycles in any given project may vary. MAC-ZIKO ensures a well structure document control procedure in the detailed design process to the client satisfaction.The Detailed Engineering Design documentations contains detail diagrams and drawings for construction, civil works, instrumentation, control system, electrical facilities, management of suppliers, schedule of activities, costs, procurement of equipment, economic evaluation and also environmental impacts before starting of construction of a project.
As-Built:
In building projects it is common for changes to be made during construction because of circumstances that emerge on site. These changes can be relatively minor or can be very significant. As a result, it is common for the client to require that As-built drawings are prepared, either during the construction process or when construction is complete, to reflect what has actually been built. MAC-ZIKO provides service to markup changes to the ‘final construction issue’ drawings on-site using red ink, and then create record drawings showing the completed project. This documentation will form the As-Built which will be issued to the client for review and approval
3D Laser Scanning:
MAC-ZIKO is committed to efficiency and quality service deliver every time. Over the years in the Oil and Gas Industry, collection of data has evolved over recent years. As a result, field information which was once collected by of engineers onsite using various tools such as measuring tapes, etc is now replaced by high-definition digital imaging (scanning) instruments run by a single field engineer. 3D laser scanning is now preferred method of documenting field information by every innovative organization, as it offers several advantages over traditional methods of collecting data. The efficiency and accuracy of the 3D Scanning cannot be over emphasized, and that is why MAC-ZIKO is readily available to provide this service for our clients and provide a more robust 3D model and As-Built Documentations.
